Chlorine is by far the most popular form of sanitizer for swimming pools it comes in a wide variety of types. Each type has unique characteristics and uses.
Knowing the properties of the chlorine you use, will be a tremendous benefit
in maintaining your pool. The percentage of chlorine, will determine how
much needs to be added as a shock or disinfectant. The pH of the chlorine
will how much alkalinity is needed to maintain the pH in a proper range.
